Brage Bjanger Music, organisation number 931 912 275, Rosenborggata 1A, 0356 Oslo, Norway, is the controller for personal data processed through sinkoaudio.com and Sonar.

02 What we process and for how long
Your account and login
Data: Name, email, password (encrypted), profile details, Google or Facebook login ID if you use it
Legal basis: Contract
How long we keep it: While your account exists, deleted within 30 days after you delete it
Purchases, subscriptions, credits
Data: Orders, plan, payment status, credits, loyalty points, download history

Sonar

Contests
Data: Entry, account name, contact details for winners

How long we keep it: Entries: as stated in the contest rules. Winner records: 3 years
Analytics
Data: Pages visited, device and browser, approximate location, cookie IDs

Advertising and ad measurement
Data: Cookie and pixel IDs, pages visited, conversions

How long we keep it: Up to 13 months
Security and fraud prevention
Data: IP address, login and access logs
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in protecting the service
How long we keep it: Up to 90 days, unless needed to investigate an incident
Inactive accounts: if you have not logged in for 3 years, we email you. If you do not log in within 30 days of that email, we delete the account.
Anonymised data: when we anonymise Sonar data, it can no longer be linked to you. We keep anonymised, aggregated data to improve Sonar and for research on ear training.

We do not sell your personal data. We use these providers, who process data on our behalf or, where noted, as independent controllers:

What for: Website hosting, accounts, store, databases, marketing emails, loyalty program, site analytics

We may also share data with an accountant, with authorities where the law requires it, or with a buyer if Sinko's business is transferred.
04 Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers process data outside the EEA. Transfers to Israel rely on an EU adequacy decision. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
05 Children
You must be 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, advertising cookies are off unless you accept them, and we do not knowingly target you with personalised ads. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we delete it.
06 Your rights
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Have your data deleted, unless we must keep it by law.
• Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Object to direct marketing at any time.
• Receive data you gave us in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before.
Email team@sinkoaudio.com to use your rights. We answer within one month. You can also complain to Datatilsynet.
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing. Sonar uses your results to suggest practice sessions, which you are free to ignore.
07 Security
We use providers with recognised security standards, limit access to personal data to team members who need it, and use encrypted connections throughout the site.
08 Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. Significant changes are announced by email to account holders or on the site before they apply.
