License Terms
Last Updated 3 October 2026
What you may do with products from Sinko. These terms apply whether you bought the product, redeemed credits for it, claimed it through a subscription or Sonar, or won it. Sinko (or the credited producer) keeps the copyright in every product. A license is personal to you and cannot be transferred unless stated below
01 Instrumental leases (Music Store)
Every instrumental sold on the beat store is a non-exclusive lease. Sinko may lease the same instrumental to others and may continue to use it.
You may
• Record vocals or other parts over the instrumental and release the resulting song commercially on streaming services, stores, social media and video platforms.
• Perform the song live and use it in your own content.
• Earn income from the song.
You must
• Credit the producer as "Prod. by [producer name] (Sinko Audio)" wherever credits are shown.
• Register the producer's writer share correctly if you register the song with a collecting society such as TONO, as stated on the product page or agreed with us in writing.
You may not
• Sell, lease, share or distribute the instrumental on its own, or as a "type beat" or remake.
• Register the instrumental or your song with Content ID or similar systems in a way that claims the instrumental.
• Claim exclusive rights to the instrumental, or transfer your lease to someone else.
• Use it in film, TV, adverts, games or other sync use without a separate license.
If Sinko later sells exclusive rights to an instrumental, leases already granted stay valid.
02 Samples and presets
All samples, loops, one-shots, MIDI files and presets are royalty-free.
You may
• Use them in your own music and audio productions, including commercial releases, beats you sell, client work, sync and game audio, without paying royalties or crediting Sinko.
You may not
• Resell, share, give away or redistribute them, on their own or in any form where they can be extracted, even if modified.
• Use them to create sample packs, loop kits, preset banks, sampler instruments or any other product that competes with or replaces them, even if processed or resampled. (Exception: Building Blocks)
• Use them, or any content made mainly from them, to train, fine-tune or test artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or submit them to AI services for that purpose.
• Register them, or a production consisting mainly of them, with Content ID or similar systems.
Using a sample as a building block inside your own composition is allowed. Releasing a track that is essentially an unaltered loop from the pack is not.
03 Plugins and virtual instruments
This covers Sinko plugins such as Sinko Grand Piano and Essential Drummer.
• You receive a single-user license to install and use the plugin on up to 3 computers that you own or control.
• Music you make with the plugin is yours. You may use it commercially without royalties or credit.
• You may not copy, share, resell or transfer the plugin or your license, extract or redistribute the samples inside it, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
• Plugins are provided as described on the product page. We aim to fix reported bugs, but we do not guarantee compatibility with every future operating system or plugin host.
04 Breach
If you break these License Terms, your license ends automatically, and Sinko may enforce its rights, including by requesting removal of infringing releases. Content you released lawfully before the breach is not affected unless the breach relates to it.
05 Liability
Products are licensed as described on their product pages. Sinko is not responsible for how you use them, or for third-party claims arising from material you combine with them.
